Pet Peeve: When offering freebies....
Pet Peeve:
Digital artists who offer freebies on their blogs that only jerk you off to their paid website to download said 'freebie' (which in my opinion, should be a FREEBIE not a freebie offered for someones personal information)....oh but first, you must REGISTER to their store and give all your personal information, including phone number.
Know what I do?
LEAVE.
Not worth my effort and time and lost my potential future business too.
Digital artists who offer freebies demand that those who want their 'freebies' come to their blogs or join their discussion lists.....and that no one 'pass on' their freebies..or that would be 'piracy'.....and they demand that everyone go to their blog to 'get' their freebie...but after about a bazillion clicking just to get it, do you think people want to go through the hoops of filling in a FORM of personal information, JUST to get a freebie?
Not I.
When that happens, POOF I am gone.
My freebies are offered on my blog, the only thing one has to do is click and be dragged off to the downloading source, and they dont have to give any of their personal information to get them. I offer them, because its a joy to 'give' something of myself to others..The only string attached is to follow the TOU included.

In my spare time I am just like you..I like to surf the web and look for digital freebies that are 'outstanding'...I'm getting more picky about what I download..as you know...digital goodies take up a lot of space..so it has to be extra special to download...As I was surfing I was reading a blog where someone talked about this amazing deal....and I checked it out, in curiosity..All I can say is:

How can you beat that? What an xmas present to give yourself!
Her creations are amazing..The lady has talent~ You will LOVE her stuff...Am I gushing?!
And no, I am not affiliated nor do I get anything for telling you other than the satisfaction of passing along a deal that I'd like to see others benefit from...

1. You will need A LOT OF DISK SPACE
2. Get an auto downloader program to load these things into like Getright which is free. This will insure if you freeze up or get blown offline somehow, that you will be able to pick up the downloads where the left off, instead of starting all over.
3. Make sure you are using a fairly fast internet connection to get these all downloaded.

Karma and Ann Coulter
News reports are saying Ann Coulter, the vitriolic right wing pundit who writes very nasty things has had her jaw broken and wired shut.
What karma.
The Huffington Post has had over 360,000 views on the story, and seem to be only allowing through a small portion of comments. There are only a little over 200 comments based upon those views. It is noticeable that they are censoring the comment board. I would say because the comments about Ann Coulter's 'misfortune' with the wired jaw are probably giving Ann the same kind of treatment she gave the widows of 9/11.
What goes around comes around Ann.

HAIL TO THE CHIEF: President Barack Obama
I have to blog today. I am so elated. Barack Obama was elected to the United States Presidency late last night and I am gloriously happy at that result.
I fully admit, I have bawled my eyes out in joy, in shock, in AWE of this moment in History.
My husband and I watched television and bounced around on Internet sites for hours last night.
When Barack Obama was suddenly called as the Projected winner of the Presidency we were watching CNN and both my husband and I burst out crying and hugging each other.
What a Moment. What a striking time in history that we have came to, through hardship, struggle, through dark times..through slavery...through civil rights and horrific times..to come to this moment..

FUNHOUSE FRAME FREEBIE~
I created these a while back and had a lot of fun doing it. The original was just a plain frame, but the shape reminded me of going to a FunHouse and seeing yourself in all those mirrors and all the hilarious shapes your body contorted to. So I took the shape of the frame and added even more fun to it, with big bold dots and then, eventually the furr covered ones. The sizes of the frames are all generous as always, I like to make my digi creations bigger so that you can resize down without losing clarity.
Since I will not be having much fun next week, as I have to work at my job lots of extra hours, I thought I would go ahead and share these FunHouse Frames with you all and hope they bring you some joy. Try rotating the frames from the original position and you'll see what I mean about how much fun these can be with a photograph. I can see them being really great for a panoramic photo too.

So you wanna be on TV? A freebie Television Screen Frame
Recently I was exploring my creativity and came up with the idea to make a television screen to put pictures behind..Sort of like the idea of doing those mockups of magazine covers that you put a photo behind. I thought I would share my creation here with you all for a Redhead Pixels FREEBIE. I hope you enjoy it. Please do leave a comment if you download. The tv screen is large and can be resized smaller if you desire. I even added rabbit ear antena for a more old fashioned look and metal looking round knobs and a red remote light. This is not a totally 'modern' tv, but its a fun one. I thought I would make it big so that you all could decide how big you wanted it for your projects and it would retain clarity. The element frame is 3600x3600 and is PSP XI. If you desire another format, leave a message.
